These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Sweet Mint Studio through sweetmintstudio.net. By engaging our services or purchasing any plan, you (the Client) agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Introduction

Sweet Mint Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a WordPress-focused web design and digital marketing agency operating through sweetmintstudio.net. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services purchased or engaged through our website or directly with Sweet Mint Studio.

2. Services Overview

Our services are structured in two categories:

Foundation Projects

A one-time project fee to design and build your website based on your chosen plan. Available plans include:

  • Starter Plan
  • Growth Plan
  • Premium Plan

Full payment is required upfront before any project work begins. This covers the complete website build from start to finish based on the agreed scope of the chosen plan.

Addon Services

Additional services purchased separately after or alongside the Foundation Project, billed in service hour blocks or packages:

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) — per hour blocks
  • Digital Marketing — per hour blocks
  • Content Creation and Blogging
  • Google Analytics setup and reporting
  • Product and service page setup
  • Ongoing site updates and maintenance

3. Payment Terms

Full payment for the chosen Foundation Project plan is due before work begins. No work will commence until payment is confirmed and cleared.

Addon services are billed separately based on the specific service package or hour block selected at the time of purchase.

All fees charged by Sweet Mint Studio are for labor only. Domain registration, web hosting, stock images, premium plugins, and third-party tools are separate client expenses. If Sweet Mint Studio purchases any of these on the Client’s behalf, they will be invoiced at exact cost with no markup.

All payments are processed securely through SureCart. Sweet Mint Studio does not store payment card information.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to sweetmintstudio@gmail.com. The effective date of cancellation is the date the written request is received.

Stage of CancellationPolicy
Within 2 days of project startA fixed cancellation fee of $150 will be charged to cover time already invested. The remaining balance will be refunded.
Between 50% and 70% project completionA refund of 50% of the total project fee may be issued at Sweet Mint Studio’s discretion based on work completed. No additional charges beyond the original agreement will apply.
At or beyond 70% project completionNo refund will be issued. The majority of agreed deliverables have been completed and the investment of time and resources cannot be recovered.
Please note: Once a project has passed the 70% completion mark, Sweet Mint Studio is unable to offer any refund regardless of circumstances. We encourage all Clients to communicate openly and early if concerns arise so we can resolve them together before reaching this stage.

5. Project Scope and Changes

The agreed project scope is defined at the time of purchase based on the chosen plan. Any requests outside the original scope including additional pages, new features, or design changes not included in the original agreement will be treated as Addon Services and billed separately.

Sweet Mint Studio reserves the right to reasonably adjust project timelines if the Client delays providing necessary content, feedback, login credentials, or approvals. Delays caused by the Client do not entitle the Client to a refund or price reduction.

6. 30-Day Post-Launch Support

Upon project completion Sweet Mint Studio provides 30 days of complimentary support at no additional charge. This covers:

  • Minor bug fixes and technical issues directly related to the delivered project
  • Basic guidance on how to use your new website
  • Answering questions about delivered features and functionality

This support period does not include new feature development, content updates, SEO work, or digital marketing services. We strongly recommend exploring our Addon Services during this period to maximize the impact of your new site from day one.

After the 30-day support period, ongoing assistance is available through our maintenance and Addon Service packages.

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure your project is delivered on time and to the agreed standard, the Client agrees to:

  • Provide all required content, images, logos, and copy in a timely manner
  • Respond to requests for feedback or approvals within 5 business days
  • Ensure all materials provided do not infringe on third-party copyrights or trademarks
  • Provide accurate billing and contact information
  • Maintain access to domain, hosting, and any accounts needed for the project

8. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the Client owns all custom design and content created specifically for their project. Sweet Mint Studio retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.

Any third-party assets used in the project such as stock images, premium plugins, or licensed fonts remain subject to their respective license terms. The Client is responsible for maintaining any required licenses after project handoff.

9. Third-Party Tools and Platforms

Sweet Mint Studio builds on WordPress and integrates third-party tools including but not limited to SureCart, Elementor, Astra, Yoast SEO, and GTranslate. We are not responsible for changes, outages, pricing updates, or policy changes made by these third-party platforms after project delivery. Any additional costs arising from third-party tool changes are the responsibility of the Client.

10. Limitation of Liability

Sweet Mint Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of delivered services or the website. Our total liability to any Client shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project or service in question.

11. Confidentiality

Sweet Mint Studio will treat all Client business information shared during the course of a project as confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without the Client’s written consent, except as required by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

13. Changes to These Terms

Sweet Mint Studio reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of our services after updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
